Do you know the UK TV series with David Suchet? Some scenes were shot in the building my sister lives in.

DH and I watched the Masterpiece Mystery series on PBS with David Souchet together and enjoyed them immensely. They were repeated and I think also some new ones have been produced. I also enjoyed the Miss Marple series with Julia McKenzie, she is the PERFECT Miss Marple.

On a different note, now I'm hooked on Downton Abbey,

I got it on DVD for Christmas because I could never catch it on the telly... Once this mad rush is over, I shall have a Maggi Smith fest and watch it. I have loved her work since seing her in The Merchant of Venice.

My DD alerted me to it. I recorded each episode to harddisk, and they are now burned to DVD. Each one is worth watching twice, each new viewing revealed some overlooked bit of dialog or business. Pure pleasure!

She is over-the-top FABULOUS in Downton Abbey! I hope she signed on for the sequel.
