Pillows, Pillows, Pillows

My 6 yo DGS, "E", as we call him has put in his annual request for new covers for throw pillows for his birthday. He makes life so easy. He picked out a hockey theme this year, his mom found an online source and I ordered and just made up three new covers for him. II wish it was always that easy to come up with gifts. He loves gift cards to Target too so I'll slip one into the prezzie. Juno

He will love both the pillow covers and gift card. The youngest DGS is always easy to please, too; as long as it has something to do with guitars. I once made his a throw for his bed of a guitar-designed fleece for Christmas. He loved it; I'd forgotten all about it till you mentioned the covers for "E". Emily

Make the most of it - presents start to get more complex as they get older! Peer pressure starts young these days...

I've been very lucky with giving the "grands" gifts. They go from age 22 down to a three YO. They almost always want something from Grams sewing machine. The 2 oldest girls now ask for gift cards for things like gas for the cars or for food shopping at college. They make life very pleasant that way. We have 9 grandchildren and they all know the Grammie and Poppa are not money machines. Juno
