We went to Tasmania. I don't know if you are a gardener, but if you are you would know of Susan Irvine and her books. She was doing a special opening of her garden under the Open Garden Scheme and as I have all her books and love roses, I wanted desperately to go to see it. Simply gorgeous as it's not too manicured (I don't do manicured with my big country gardens) and it was lovely to actually see the house in its setting too.

Unfortuantely I'm now keen to move to Tasmania - no flies, great soil, decent rainfall, doesn't get as hot as here, roses as big as cabbages, as pretty as Britain, cheaper than going to Britian, less crowded than Britain and better Georgian buildings than Britain. What more could a garden mad girl with an interest in vernacular architecture want in life?

And yep, with iinet, but my addy is somewhat different as iinet took over my previous ISP and its addys.
