Results of the fund-raising auction

Just got the final tally:

Denim apron & pot holders w/thistle embroidery-$27 Denim tote bag w/Celtic embroidery - $19 Four blue napkins and metal rings - $20 Two Scottie Dog velour hand towels - $24 Three McLeod kitchen towels - $10.75

So, my "contribution" was a little over $100. ;-) And In each case the item went for more than I had invested into it, so I'm very pleased, although I do think the lady who bought the apron and pot holders got a bargain.

I wish it could have been more. This economy thing is dampening everything down. :-(

It was so nice (that really isn't the correct word to use) for you to use your talent and donate custom made things for the auction. Barbara in SC

If my name had not been on the bidding sheet as the donor, I would have made a bid and kept them.

Both DDs want similar aprons, I'm planning on embroidering older DD's with her logo:

I already have it digitized and ready to go, and younger DD's with lots and lots of dragonflies, her favorite critter.

You may be looking for "generous", but in this case it would be inaccurate. I'm actually very self-serving. If fund-raising for the organization does not do well, DGD will not have dance competitions and I'll no longer have an excuse to sew dance outfits. ;->
