Singer 600E nylon, fleece, neoprene ?

Using a singer 600E: What procedure is used for nylon ripstop? I'm not getting wide stitch spacing like on tents with tight bottom threading-the bottom stitch is slack, slacker than the tents. What foot and procedure for sewing double side fleece with filler and polartec 200? Is sewing 1/8" neoprene possible with a special foot? A walking foot is on hand. Is a walking foot useable for sewing thick fleece or neoprene?

For ripstop I use the roller foot and a smallish needle, with a fine thread... If you are getting loops on the bottom, tighten up your tension a notch or two.

I usually use the serger for seams on polar fleece: I do use the walking foot or the roller foot for straight stitching on the ordinary machine.

You'll have to test the neoprene... Some machines will cope, some won't. And yes, I'd try both the walking foot and a roller foot on it.

If it's nylon knit covered neoprene (wetsuit fabric) use a jersey needle. If it's solid sheets of neoprene, like rubber, use a leather needle.
