Gosh that was kind of a disappointing price. I would have expected a lot more for that machine. I guess the market in those old machines has gone south?

Not necessarily. The seller is in Canada, does not say how much he charges for shipping, has one negative and at least two neutral feedback comments, and is generally scored low on shipping time, and expense. It's not a bad price all things considered. The red "S" is unusual but not unique, and other machines, such as the black-face, are rarer.

One other thing. Since you can't see the User IDs of bidders once the bidding goes over $200, it kind of makes some of us uneasy. I don't like not being able to see at least the User ID. I liked it better when you could see email addresses, but I'm an old crank as far as eBay is concerned. ;-)
