What is Click & Sew?

She was very large and her legs really touched. We had to move the legs to the center, We did end up making her a pattern, Click and Sew just didn't cut it. This gal looked like she had one leg, she held her legs so close together.

I can certainly see why you're doing that too .

Contrary to what I'd originally thought, it turns out that I should make a small forward shoulder adjustment for DD with the McCall's pattern, but it's not nearly as much of an adjustment as I have to with the Simplicity pattern.

Without darts?

LOL! Sounds as if you have trouble with organizational skills too. I do hope you can find it soon, as I'm anxious to give it a try!

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip! I prefer more ease for myself and less for DD. Glad to know there's a way to do it. Thanks!

Sorry. I didn't make it clear. I have not tried Click and Sew children's patterns. I was curious about hearing from anyone who had. My problem with the Martha Pullen kids patterns in Click and Sew are that they are not styles that would work for my kids and my purposes. My problems with children's patterns in general has been the unreliable sizing. It isn't too bad now when I have a little time to play about and fix things. When I first started sewing for them and had little spare time, I was frustrated by the (to me) wildly unreliable sizing in the big three kids patterns. I would end up with really boxy clothes even using the right measurements as per the pattern envelope. Or the pants would basically fit but be bunchy compared with similar pants in ready to wear. When you squeeze a few precious moments away to sew something you hope will be special for your child and end up with something not at all nice, you get frustrated. On a positive note, I have good results using Kwik Sew patterns for the kids. The sizing has been what I expected and styles have been good. I also disassemble ready-to-wear clothes that fit and duplicate them but only after the ready-to-wear clothes get badly stained or have the knees blown out. My best leggings patterns have been from tracing Gymboree leggings.

This is exactly why I bit the bullet and bought the pattern drafting software. (It also has cured me of pattern collecting and freed up some space in my bedroom. Personally I don't consider that a bag thing.)
