Wild Things is indeed free and terrific! I made one of the bags from the program called the Ergo bag -- one of those teardrop-shaped bags that's supposed to be kind on the back. On a whim I entered it into my County Fair last week and took a second-place ribbon!

Thank you for the tip. I've been interested in trying the Wild Ginger software but haven't gotten around to ordering anything yet. I'm glad to have a chance to try before I buy. I'm impressed so far with Wild Ginger's customer relations. This is a generous thing for them to do.

Lovely stuff! I also like the handkerchief hem dress. Looks very comfy.

Congrats on the 2nd place ribbon. Shortening the strap on the bag is a snap if you just add a no-sew buckle down near the bottom of the strap. That way you don't have to take anything apart and if someone borrowed the bag they could adjust it to their height. Laura

Thank you so much for mentioning this. :) I didn't see this last time I surfed their site. Downloaded it this morning. Been playing with it some already. :) They do good stuff. This is no exception.

Thanks again!

I downloaded it and am trying to run it under Windows XP. Crashes everytime. Has anyone here been able to run under XP?

Me too - have you looked to see if your system has that worm that's going about?

Borrow?!? You think I'm going to lend this puppy out?!? ;-) LOL

Seriously, that would be a good solution. Thanks!

Ooh, I LIKE that idea!! I was in G Street yesterday and spotted a wide range of pre-quilted stuff. Now I'll have to reconsider my "fabric diet" and get some...

That was one thing that when I looked at the program I wanted to do right away! I've looked at the ergo bags by LLBean, but they're really pricey and I still need more of a baby bag than a regular bag. I love the way yours turned out. The piping looks really sharp. I'd give it a blue ribbon! Maybe adding a few extra pockets/compartments as you've done would make it worth my while to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!

I did and didn't see anything which is why I asked those of you that have more experience with the programs. I know nothing about Wild Ginger products, which is why I asked for help.

Thank you very much! I didn't see that anywhere, and I know most places will at least let you know if you can use virtual pc or not. I must have overlooked it.

No; they don't do Mac versions. But they are supposed to run on some level of Virtual Windows.
