Which paper crimper is best- Fiskars or Marvy?

Hey, just wondering if anyone used both the Fiskars and Marvy Uchida paper crimpers and could tell me which one was best. The Marvy paper crimper folds flat and comes in a nice pale blue, whereas the Fiskars crimper is bulky and comes only in blue and orange- a rather ugly combo for a company that specializes in craft items- what's their excuse? Plus, the Marvy paper crimper can crimp a larger sized paper width- I believe 8 1/2" Yet, Fiskars is a good company and gives a lifetime guarantee.. plus the handle has a spring in it- so I wonder if this makes it a better crimper. What do you all think?

Thanks, Doreen

Hi Doreen: I've never used the Marvy but I'm happy with my Fiskers crimper. Would be nice if they came in a few different color choices!

Though it's bulky and not the prettiest sight to look at, the Fiskars crimper is much better than any other I've ever used.

Does this mean you have used the Marvy crimper in particular and found the Fiskars one to perform better?

I am not sure that it was the Marvy crimper by name...but I have used the Fiskars crimper and I have used 2 other brand crimpers and I prefered the Fiskars. I do not own a crimper of my own, but I have used them when visiting my sister and friends. Anna

I had both the Marvy and the Fiskars and they seemed the same to me. The only difference was that one folded flatter and the other took up more room. I kept the one that folded flatter because it stored better, and I think it may have taken wider paper too.
