A Kind Word to Darrell Feltmate

Just got through emailing the link to your website to a friend. It dawned on me that I have done that a lot lately. I started turning about 7 years ago and was hooked long before I learned anything about the craft. Got the first of what I considered good instruction from Richard Raffan's book Turning Wood. My enthusiasm for turning has caused a dozen or so people to come down with the same disease. They generally start in my shop with a little hands on then rush out and buy their first lathe. I always suggest that they buy, read, and continue to refer to Raffan's book as a guide. Now, I add that they should also use your website as a school house. I would like to offer a word of thanks to you for maintaining the site and for your continued presence within the newsgroup. Thanks.
