Bumped off WoW

Greetings, all,

Someone a while back was kind enough to offer me an invitation to Wow. I didn't realize it was temporary, and now I can't get back in. Another invite, please? Also, once in, how do I establish a permanent link?

I think you get kicked off if you don't look at it every few months. There is no completely permanent solution.

Ron, I sent you a "re-invite" - so you'll still have your old username and password (I assume).

Yes, Herm cleans the rolls if someone goes 3-ish months or so without visiting. It's easy enough, though, to re-invite folks if they'd like to re-up.

I posted the following to a previous query - it's easier to snip and paste than rewrite the whole thing:

If you (or anyone else) will privately email me your real first and last names plus a valid email address I'll get an invitation sent to you as soon as I can.

Ron, I just checked and I see you were logged in today, so I guess you're OK.

Just to let you know, we don't bump people off WoW maliciously. I'm trying to keep the site membership list current, and if someone does not log in for months, I assume they have lost interest. However, if that member has an album, or use to participate with their comments and suggestions, I will try, several times, to reach them and ask if they still want to be members. No one is uncerimoniously bounced. And - as someone else said, it's easy enough to get back on.

As far as members - we have close to 700, and there are now over 7,000 photos on the site.
