Dangerous beetles in the wood

They leaped on me and bit me ! They ate a large piece of flesh out of my body before I crushed them!

Beware , dangerous beetles may eat you,too !

This problem may be bigger than we realize. Who knows how many turners were consumed before they were able to react--we never hear from them.

Shane, I'd tell you how to kill them, but there's bound to be a beetle lover on rcw to be offended. Put a food safe finish on that wood and LDD on your wounds asap. Arch

The best way I found to prevent beetles was when I chainsawed the grubs out of an infested mulberry stump's bark and sapwood. I was covered in sawdust and grub juice/chunks. So they can't be mad 'cause I didn't kill any beetles.
