i think it could be used for wood but might not be a great idea it looks like it has a cantilevered stand unless my eyes are tricking me a very interesting machine anywayderbyshire clockmakers lathe

It looks like a watch makers lathe. Options are there.
Wonder if the precision is still there.
It looks like the speed for the small parts is available.

it is listed as a clockmakers lathe so i guess it might work for watch parts too
that would be the key thing to consider because anything out of true and it would be no good
