Not trying to undermine your sales or anything, but I can't think of any woodturner who would consider stopping and switching a handle from tool to tool in the middle of a turning session - especially when one of the benefits and pleasures of having a lathe and turning skills is making your own tool handles.

Buddy, Obviously there's a market out there since you see lots of these manufactured handles with set screws. Not having one, my guess is that you don't change in the middle but have favorite handles that you get to use with different tools. Also, would be handy for trying out homemade tools until you get one perfect. Might say the same for the handles, too. TomNie
I got the idea from Alan Lacer, who demonstrates how to forge, grind, and heat-treat hook tools from 3/8" tool steel. The hook tools don't last a long time before being ground away, and are easy to make but not worth making a dedicated handle for.

Ken, Please email me your buy it now price. Thanks Phil
Hi Ken-
Those look pretty nice, but I'm not in the market for one. Do you do any other machining in that shop of yours? There are a couple of lathe-related things I might be interested in, if you're looking to expand your product line.
I'm always looking for new small-scale income-generating projects for my other "hobby", metalworking. I'm the guy my fellow club members come to when they need a special bushing, adapter, toolpost, or what have you. I also fabricate and market an eccentric chuck gizmo of my own design, but don't push it very hard because I don't want to go into a production-type situation:
