The literate among us may have read the news reports that Jan Miner passed away on February 15, 2004, at 86 years of age. She was a pioneer and an icon of the LDD world, appearing on television from 1966 to 1992. With her signature line, "Relax, you're soaking in it", Madge the Manicurist, as she will forever be known to her fans in North America, was Tilly to the Germans and Francoise to the French.
I'd like to take a few moments to remember Madge and her tireless efforts to convince people that "soaking in it" would cure their problems. She was a true trailblazer in the LDD struggle for accceptance.
