I have just purchased my first woodturning lathe and would appreciate some guidance on good websites for basic info or any help or assistance anyone could provide.

should keep you busy for a couple minutes. Hope it helps. Most turners, whether contemporary or bodgers, tend to be fairlyhelpful sorts. Find your local club and you should find aplethors of mentors. Dave in Fairfax

Steve Blowing my own horn here, but check out my web site and make the sharppening jig or buy a commercial one. This is a great group to post questions. The guys and gals are helpful and together we have made all the mistakes possible. Of course having said that, someone will now try to make a liar out of me with a new mistake, but that is life :-) .
