For those who don't know, Judith Mattart (The Lumberlady) passed away October 25th. She was hospitalized October 8th with pneumonia.

i will miss her -- she was a wonderful person -- one of the pioneers
I never met the lady, but hope to use her as an example of women in woodworking to (perhaps) convince my wife to take a turn with a gouge.

My condolences to her family and those who knew her. Wouldn't you know it. I had just sent a posting to this group asking about her status before I had checked the whole group and this posting!
