I have started a web page with photos from the Armed Forces Day Turn-A- Thon held at Curly Woods in McKinney, Texas this past Saturday. I will add links to allow viewing of larger images very soon, but these should give you a good idea as too the great fun that was enjoyed yesterday by all. A great group of woodturning folks working for a great cause!
I'm not a member of the clubs but my wife and I did drive up to see the event and to meet many good guys and gals. I'm the one with suspenders watching Bill Oliver. Bill was showing me how he turns pens and had me turing one in just a few minutes. Pens were being turned so fast his daughters had a hard time keeping up with the assembly.
