The Dallas Woodturners, Hunt County Woodturners and Curly Woods are working on a Freedom Pens Promotion here at Curly Woods in McKinney, TX.
The purpose is turn as many pens for the Freedom Pens campaign as possible in one day and to bring even more awareness to this great cause and further show support for our troops!
All Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas chapters of the AAW wood turners are welcome and encouraged to come join us for this event.
We are finalizing the date, but it looks like Saturday May 15th is the day. We are asking everyone with a mini or small transportatable lathe to come join us for this great promotion.
Curly Woods is supplying all pen blanks for this project so we want to turn all of the pens possible for our troops in one day!
