Re: Tool sharpening

Ken,

Just my humble opinion - I am a mechanical engineer with both bachelors, and masters degrees, as well as being state registered Professional Engineer.... Your fixture looks very well designed, and well constructed! Seriously. It really looks like it is very durably built, and I don't disbelieve your results.

I am still sharpening freehand on my belt sander - and that has given me great results. Maybe not "decimal place" precision, but yielded good cutting tools, and fairly good consistency. However, I can see a place for your fixture, especially for someone who doesn't feel comfortable or isn't very good at freehand sharpening.

Best Regards // Safe turning,

Joe
