Today I cobbled up a remote switch to do the same as pushing the off button. If anybody is interested I will post how I did it. I used stuff I already had lying around.

Ok.. clarification needed for my tired brain, Gerald..
Is it the same as the stop button, or the off switch?
I have one for the on/off switch but only use it in extreme cases, as it shuts down the computer, also, so it doesn't remember the speed I hit "stop" at..
I'd love a remote that hit "stop"..

It is the same as the stop button, not the toggle switch.
