Bill... I'll pass the word around to our RV friends....

We go to Morro Dunes several times a year, (about 3 hours from Clovis), and several of the RV'ers are woodworkers..

Bill,

Something to think about would be to contact the local woodturners association and ask them to auction it off at the next meeting. It would be alive auction which usually brings the price over what you are asking and you can start the auction at $670 if you want. It would be nice if you offered anything over $670 to be a donation to the club.

If you don't want to bother with an auction, then at least ask them to make an annoucement at the meeting that you are selling the lathe.

..

.. and they would work where? in the back of the truck?

The only full-timer I know that does serious wood-working has a cargo trailer that his MH tows, but all he has is bench-top tools

I think you misunderstood me, Ralph... I didn't mean to infer that they'd use it IN their RV, but that Morro Bay was a frequent stop for rv folks around the Fresno area and they could look at/buy it when they were in the area..
