what glues should people use for exotics - not yellow glue according to FWW article

Oct 22, 2003 0 Replies

The most recent FWW had an article on yellow glue which listed some breaking points of glue ups with different techniques.

They tested untreated, wiped with lacquer thinner, sanded, and epoxy glued up joints (sure wish they tested other glues like Gorilla glue etc), with the results that only epoxy glues came close to the having the same sheer strength of non-oily wood glue ups

Do people have explicit recommendations for epoxy glues for laminating oily exotics?

thanks
