Addi Turbo and the types of chords

Mar 23, 2005 2 Replies

I got a couple of Addi Turbo circular needles on the weekend. I noticed that the 8mm 47" needle had a thick plastic chord while the

9mm 40" needle had the thin chord that I am used to on my other Addi Turbos.

When I knit with the needles with the thick plastic chord, the stitches stick. I am going to replace the 8mm thick chord needles with the "regular" needles.

My question is: How can I tell if the Addi Turbos come with a thin chord or the thick chord. There is no indication on the package and since I will be ordering them over the internet, I would like to avoid buying the thick chord versions.

Thanks

Chris

Wow, Chris, I don't blame you for your trepidation! I 'think' JJ Molvik can answer this question.... I can't, but am looking forward to an answer too! Hugs, Noreen

Chris, I have a feeling that they do not make the ones with the thick plastic line or wire (I know that is a misnomer) in the middle. I do think that they replaced those, because of that problem.
