I have not forgotten, I will write up those socks and send it out to you, I've just had a very busy week! Noreen ;)

Noreen,

No problem! I know you've been busy with things like becoming a grandma and stuff :)

MY DIL gave me Sensational Knitted Socks for my b-day. It looks like a great book to help someone like me to come up with their own designs!

I'm wondering though, I really prefer cotton over wool so what are good yarns to use for socks and how much cotton should be in the yarn?

BB

I've got Regia thats a cotton blend, and Sockotta that's also a cotton blend... at the moment, my little journal is not handy, but I can attempt to get back to you on the percentages~! Noewwn

OMgosh! Rotflmao too! Actually, reminds me of a funny family story. My neice, Laura had a very had time with her RR's... and my sister, funny one that she is, PURPOSELY taught Laura to call me:

Auntie Noweenie.

I always laughed and said:

Well, I certainly HOPE so- otherwise I'd be her UNCLE!

running and ducking the tomatoes, now! Noreen

"YarnWright" posted some stuff, then signed her name as:

You're Welsh!!??

Half POLE, didn't it SHOW???? LOL! Noreen

LOL I just figured she was talking baby talk in light of being a gramma now. ;o)

splort! GOOD one, Gem! Noreen (third time Gramma, actually!) (Rebekah and Mikayla, DGD's via Pokey's previous, and we DO count them, very much, grin!)

Of course you should count them. My oldest sister has step-grandchildren who she treats *exactly* the same as her own grandchildren. :o)

*hugs* Gemini

Wow, I didn't even catch that! I always tell people I can read through typos without noticing if they are apologizing for them, but I had no idea it was to that extent! LOL
