Oh brother, my 4yo DS would love this! Thanks Katherine :( You know I'll just have to make it for him, don't you? Maybe without the meatballs, though. I'll be sure to grab a picture of him, too....he's WAY cuter than their model :)

Speaking of ugly, did anyone read You Knit What yesterday? My 10yo DD was with me when I did (not the comments, just the page of photos); of course, she loved that pom-pom-look sweater and wants me to make it. Hopefully she'll just forget about it if I don't mention it......

Hi,

Have to agree that is ugly, but Michelle your DS would look so cute it it, especially coming out of the pile of leaves.

Well, I just showed it to him....and he laughed his head off! He wants a yellow one, so off we go to find yellow monster hat yarn.

It's mentioned in the FAQs ...

"Send it and where you found it to youknitwhat [at] gmail [dot] com. We generally mention who sent us the item, so if you want us to link your blog or whatever make sure you include the address... or if you don't want credit, let us know. We get loads of submissions, so if we don't post yours right away, don't get your needles in a knot, we're working on it."

I'm sure they'll be thrilled!

Well, he stood in front of the craft store's yarn wall and chose blue merino for the hat and wants rainbow tendrils for his monster hat, with yellow eyes. To be four again :) I have to work today (yes, on the holiday) for a couple of hours but I'll start it later today and hopefully finish it tomorrow. I'll try and figure out a photo between now and then. And find some polyfil on a holiday (should have thought of it last night....).

Poor you! I am off today, and am heading to school to finish making my costume for the play. I wish you lived here - then I'd knit the hat, and you could make the apron.
