Robin spun a FINE 'yarn':

Hi, Robin! Sometimes newsreaders glitch and it seems you can't get a reply out! I'm in Alexandria, TN, DeKalb county, approx 50 miles east of Nashville. Was born in IL, lived most of my life in WI, and have also lived in TX, GA, FL and CA. I'm 48, have been knitting and crocheting since the age of six (although mother NOW says I learned at 4.... six seems more feasable to me, tho!) I'm married to the most wonderful hubby in the world, have two grown daughters, 3 granddaughters, one son-in-law, and one 'partner' (eldest daughter's life-partner) I've been online since 1997, and here at RCTY just about that long. We've quite a few members here from PA, Donna in Philly comes to mind, and a few others. Again, welcome to the best NG on the 'net! Noreen

There may be some help in that book, but the only thing I can do about the ladder or column of looser stitches is to yank the yarn tighter when I switch to the next needle, and later on go back and adjust the extra yarn into the previous and next stitch or two. It seems to even out in the blocking anyway.

You mean my husband is a bigamist???

LOL, Mary!! From the horror stories I've heard about *some* DH's, I guess the wonderful ones are far and few between, and just *maybe* they've come from the same "mold" and are clones, thereby renderding them NON bigamists, heehee! :D Noreen

Are they bigamists or trigamists when married to 3 wives? Because I think I'm married to him to ;o)

Purplenova spun a FINE 'yarn':

*he* (our wonderful DH's, I mean) are clones, thereby making *him* NOT a bigamist, moreso a magician, yes???? LOL Noreen

OY! Getyourandsoff!
