Hi Mirjam,

As far as I remember, 'kudos' is based on a Greek word, which was mangled somehow in English. I'll look up the etymology later...

How do you feel in making these fiber art pieces?

Thanks for the new descriptions!

David My son wrote some interesting info in regards the KUDUS Kadosh question i asked

Every work comes from another story another need to let it out, sometimes i am dead tired , sometimes happy, at least 2 works ended a recurring nightmare ... mirjam

Excellent! Had you been thinking about those particular nightmares while you were working on the two pieces? Were they related somehow to what you were portraying in those two works?

Thank-you for sharing

David !!! Good morning

NO , i was not thinking , at least not conciously thinking about those nightmares, but once the works wer there in cloth !!! i very rarely had those nightmares anymore.

Thinking about it with later knowledge , yes !! some of the images came from those dreams , or from hidden memories. mirjam

Good morning Mirjam,

Thanks for more descriptions. And your experience of reduction of a certain nightmare after deliberately working with images and/or feelings from the nightmare reminded me of a recurring nightmare I had as a young teenager. Someone I knew often took my right hand into her mouth to bite it. One day after I woke from such a dream, I re-ran the dream movie forward until she was taking my hand with hers. At that point in my awake visualization, I started asking her questions - why are you doing this? Are you trying to say something to me? Is there something you want from me?, and so on.

i don't recall whether I had the nightmare ever again, or whether I repeated the exercise once again. at any rate, after either the first or second time doing this, the nightmare became history.

Thanks for more triggered associations Mirjam.

David
