falling off the wagon

NEVER feel guilty about buying yarn! It makes you feel good to feel it, imagine what you'll make with it.... as you said, the only place it hurts you is your wallet. Does your DH hide his hobby from you? Probably not. My DH's hobby is raising racing pigeons. I don't complain to him about the costs involved and he never says an unkind word about my yarn. Our only concern is that I'm running out of room for all my totes full of yarn (laugh). I never hide my yarn from him.

Laura,

Do not feel bad about it all. I have over 50 pounds of yarn, close to

60#.

I know that someday it will all be used. I purchased most of it at $1.00 for Super Saver, about 35#, yes about 70.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

I've never quite understood that either. And not only do I have yarn stash, but needlework stash, quilting stash and overall crafty type stash. It would take another house to even attempt hiding. :-)

Though he does make cracks every so often, especially when a sale flyer comes in the door. "The yarn store called, and can they have some of their stock back for the sale!"

Blue didn't even blink (much) when the latest parcel arrived containing 2 tree skirt kits, santa lap quilt, xmas ornaments, etc. He just said "you are still working on my sweater, right?". Yeah, sure honey! It's over 31° C, I'm really working hard on your 100% wool sweater.

That's true - but his pigeons are outside in their coop and the only time I can smell it is if I walk too close to it. Besides, some of them are really cute and I enjoy watching them in their flyway. And he's the only one who shovels their poop... which is a good fertilizer for our trees.

No I haven't. I've been too busy making things for grandchildren, etc.

Wow, that is a great deal, Dennis! I wouldn't feel quite so guilty about all the purchases if I were a faster knitter and had any hopes of using it as fast as I was accumulating more but at this point I have enough to last me quite some time!
