I had this one, Carol, I don't know if it is this you look for:
Amish Friendship Starter
1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 cup milk On Day 1: In a glass or plastic bowl, combine sugar, flour and milk. Stir with a wooden or plastic spoon. Cover loosely with a paper towel, cloth or wax paper. Keep at room temperature. On Days 2, 3 and 4: Using wooden or plastic spoon, stir once each day. On Day 5: Add one cup sugar, one cup flour and one cup milk. Stir. On Days 6, 7, 8 and 9: Stir once each day. On day 10: Add one cup sugar, one cup flour and one cup milk. Remove three cups of mixture and give one cup each to three friends. Save remaining starter for yourself, feeding every fifth day.Amish Friendship Bread
