Hair pin lace

The only thing I know to do with hairpin lace is to use it as edging/trim, or to make garters with it by running elastic down the center bit.

I like the braided effect for afghans, taking two loops from one strip, and two from the opposite, and pulling them through one another till the end... If it's a lightweight yarn, sometimes I've pulled three loops.... Just my two cents, Noreen
