Thanks Mirjam, Dh and I went shopping this morning and a younger couple passed us with a loaded trolley with some red roses perched on top. My Dh nudged me and said, " Did you see that he has bought her roses". I said "Well that is more than I have had". Ah he said" they are not real" and I said " They will last longer. How long ago did the little gifts of romance disappear in out 51 and a bit years of marriage. LOL Shirley

I'd have bashed him on the head, tell him it is thought not the goods that make romance, besides they may have been for his mum lol
We dont bother with it between ourselves either, but usually I get the tea cooked for me ...but...NOT this week, I got woken at 5am with a cuppa and a get up then, you are taking me to the train station.........yeah right.....an a happy Valentino's Day to you an all....lol he was on nights sunday, so didn't work monday, the van is already gone to Wales so he goes by train a day later and brings the van back on friday.
