Innocent looking cat!

Oh Jan, I wholeheartedly recommend you do! Pop to the local SPCA (or shelter or whatever they are called in your neck of the woods) and select a lovely one to come home with you. :)

Macar> Me too. They have been very entertaining. It almost makes me want to go

I would whole heartily recommend a cat as a pet. Never a dull moment with ours. And some days I would go as far as saying he loves me to lol He's more attached to my husband and my youngest son though, but I still love him to pieces.

It's very tempting but there isn't enough space for a cat's necessities in my apartment.

I thought you will like this , i am very proud of the `tricks` he invents to get his wishes.... unlike some humans we know , the cat has no bad thoughts. mirjam

Getting a cat if you can keep one [ or two?] is a wonderful experience he/she will teach you things about yourself , other humans etc... I have a friend who has 20++ cats she tries to find houses for them , but keeps in her house all the cats who aren`t wanted . mirjam

If I could I would! I am a chronic asthmatic and when I am near cats, I can't breathe:( The awful thing is though, that cats like me and always come to say hello:((

That's partly because cats scent-mark their owners when they rub their heads against the owner; there are scent glands along the jawline. Someone who doesn't already smell of cat is considered unclaimed territory!

tamar you made me giggle , still i see my aquaintance with the 20++ cats being aproached by many others, also our cat who hats strangers , will aproach new visitors if they do smell of cats ,,, [ well they `don`t smell to us` but he can smell them , When we had a dog he would Always aproach the people who were afraid of dogs , not the one who weren`t
