NYCO finished

I have finished NYCO #2--a pair of socks made from the wool left over from 3 other pairs. I had *exactly* enough of the orange/blue violet yarn for the project, and have only little bits of the blue and white and red-violet/yellow-green left. The yarns weren't all exactly the same weight, but they were close enough to all knit on #3 bamboo needles. It's the last item on the page here:

#1, the Aran-style cardigan vest, is coming along. Someone saidsomething last week about "at least you're not knitting a sweater oncircular needles." Well, I'm knitting a sweater on circular needles--atleast it doesn't have arms, LOL! It takes about 45 minutes to do a row(while watching TV anyway). I knit from the top down, and I am just about tomy natural waist, so the end is in sight, but I still have to do points inthe front and trim all the edges, and that will be an engineering problem aswell as considerable more knitting. Hi Georgia,

Now, those are my kind of socks, I love colors.

Hugs,
