It's really too bad

Shelagh,

I'm here, just not posting much lately. I'll be reading both groups.

I'm here too. I don't post often, but I do lurk all the time. This did not, and will not, scare me away.

Oi! I'm not a ghost! LOL Seriously, Shelagh, I agree. While I will visit the Yahoo group, I will continue to come here, too. I refuse to let someone spoil my fun.

Thanks fro reporting the abuse Jan, I didn't have a chance (and anyway it'd take me days to find out how and I'd sooner be crocheting just now!) Love & higs Christen

Well, the best way to deal with these types is to not respond to them and report the abuse to the appropriate ISP. They're whole motivation is to disrupt the normal flow of a group, and if you don't let that happen they go away quickly enough.

I'm still here but not able to post much, like I ever did anyway. I'm already in several Yahoo groups and prefer this format much better. The Yahoo group may be a good place to get a group message out that one doesn't want going public, which is why some of my current Yahoo groups exist.

You don't have to receive the e-mails at all - you can read the Yahoo group on the website if you want. Just set your preferences to "no emails" or "special notices only ". The e-mails will stop coming. I pop into the Yahoo group once a day on the website to have a look, but right now, it's mostly people trying to get used to the format.

Yannow, Shelagh, you have a point. I think that I will have to read on the site as well. My mail box is just filling and filling!

That is what I do now. I find it works better if I click threads and scroll down through the shortened messages. Right now there is a lot of traffic that is more related to getting it started than to yarn stuff and much of it I don't really read at this stage.

I did use a different e-mail so when I did have it on e-mail, it wasn't swamping my other incoming stuff.

not sure who to ask, but how do I get on the yahoo groups, what "group" has everyone gone to, do see most of you here ,but some not as often. would like to just check it out.

(* 2 husbands, house full of braty teens, rude bosses, so "sporgers" with too much time and no brains don't scare me away* I'm still here!)and I know how to delete if "it"comes to my email. Jenny

Contact Nora or Cher - that is, if they haven't already contacted you by now. If you haven't heard anything soon, let us know, and we'll contact them for you.
