Hi;
I am new to this group and would like introduce myself. I am the married mother of 2 children, ages 7 and 8 and we live in Northern Ontario, Canada, in a small town with one nice yarn shop. People travel up to 100 miles to buy their yarn at this shop. I have been knitting and crocheting since I was 8 years old, although I will admit I prefer sewing - faster gratification that way. I am way to slow at crocheting and my tension is not very good at knitting, although I do enjoy both. My mother is an avid knitter and has beautiful tension, which she did not see fit to pass on to yours truly.
My question is this. My mother has several knitting books that were passed down to her by her mother, long since deceased. One book in particular, which I do not have the information on me at the moment, has several pages missing. It is an old Jack Frost baby yarn pattern book. They show the pictures of the layettes scattered through the book and you have to search for the patterns according to number. I was wondering if anyone here knows where I would be able to find the patterns for my missing layettes. I have done a Goggle search, but have not been able to find my missing patterns. I searched at eBay as well, but nothing from that quarter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Linda
