Just dropping in with a few lines. . .

Hi, Gang! Things are still very, very busy in the Jameson household. Don's still in remission, and we are in the process of appealling the VA's decision to cut his disability from 100percent to ZERO percent..... long story short, it ENDED October 1, and while we agree that he's not

100percent disabled, he's certainly not ZERO percent either! So, it's a long process, and it's keeping us busy, on top of many 'irons-in-the-fire' we've both got going at the moment! I made Jacey a hairpin lace baby afghan, and I am SO upset... the yarn must've been 'old' or damaged, as it promptly BROKE (not unraveled, BROKE) in the washing machine! Kelley's DUE in approx 2 months, but it 'might' be earlier, due to Jacey's large size! At Christmas, Jacey was six pounds!! I'm also in the process of revamping my blog, and my website. Also, two University Press publisher's are putting out 'feelers'... will tell you about it when things settle down a bit. Christy is now home-inspecting, and doing well. We're very glad that we've "made-up" after the long silence during her Dad's illness/cancer. I'll be jumping in here and there, but consider me still on an extended hiatus! Happy birthday to those who've recently had one, or one coming up! Happy anniversary wishes also go out! Hugs, Noreen and Don

Hi, Donna! Thanks for the good wishes! Don's certainly better than he WAS, but he's got chronic fatigue syndrome and other things which basically mean he's NOT back to 100% 'him'... while we are very very thrilled that he's still in remission, remission is NOT 'cured'... four more years till his oncology team will even consider 'that' (!!) I'll be in and out, here and there, and promise ON topic stuff soon! Hugs, Noreen and Don

Thank you SO much, Mirjam! We are of course, thrilled that he's maintaining 'remission-status', but he's still not back to 100 percent 'don, prior to cancer!'.... we've a long road ahead... Hugs, Noreen and Don
