What about a book bag. You could line it with a firm material for stability. Then you could do cables, or what ever so choose.

Same with a lap throw (small afghan). Golf club covers?

how about totes or felted bags. You may be able to do placemats with cables along the sides if the colors will go with what they have. You can do pillows also. Let us know what you decide.

hehe .. I don't go into the shops after Thanksgiving. While I love shopping, I hate it at christmas time.

Well, I find that that is like skipping over a lot of time, Christmas in a Royal pain in the but already as far as gift giving goes. I am now more focusing on the family time (without the gifts) and the music that comes with the Christmas season. Relax and enjoy the admosphere ..... ah maybe it is I am getting old. Right now it is enjoy the Spring time and the garden and all that comes with it....no Christmas thoughts in this neck of the woods, not even a little glimmer....We still have to have the longest day of the year.....LOL

My sisters swear that I'm adopted because I am the only one who hates shopping (I take after my Dad for that actually). When they were here together they had to drag me practically kicking and screaming into the stores. They take FOREVER around one stupid rack.... I was like "Okay... tell me what you're looking for and I will find it already!". LOL When I shop, I like to know what I'm going to the store for and approximately what part of the store it's in so I can go in... grab it... pay for it... and get out fast! And this is ANYTIME, not just at Christmas! ;o)
