Where is everyone from: Carol In Racine Wisconsin

Do you mean what country? If you do then I'm in Australia as is Jones (Katherine). We both live in New South Wales (NSW) which is one of Australia's smaller States. And just to add to your trivia knowledge, NSW is a third bigger in land size than Texas.

Born and bred in Northeast England, married a local boy and moved to Montreal Canada a week later, then three years later to Northern Ohio. When the buckle fell off the Rust Belt, off to Tampa, Fl for ten years, then here to the Big Easy, always following the paycheck. Everywhere I go, someone says "You're not from here!" frequently in an accusing voice. (Oh, well.) My friends here recognise my English accent immediately, my friends and family in the U.K. tell me I sound very American. Go figure.

Olwyn Mary in New Orleans.

hehehe. I have spent most of my life living in the southern part of the US, but my father was from Michigan. When I'm up north, I sound very southern to them and when I'm here, they tell me I sound like I'm not from around here. :-) I lived in Wisconsin for a year and they acted like I was the most southern creature they had ever encountered! I can't help it if I like grits. :-D

I'm Lisa and I'm in South Carolina, USA, aka, The Heat Vortex of the Universe.
