Mittens and Gloves

I saw a picture of some really great mittens somewhere in not too distant past and can't remember where! There were like an alligator and looked wonderful. Does anyone have a site for a similar pattern that I could use? Think this means winter is coming my way!

the projects, click FORWARD....As you see, they are in a book, " Stitcc'n Bitch Nation".The only answers on google I get, shows to this book.The mittens are great ;-))AUD ;-))
