Need a couple of test knitters

Jul 02, 2005 11 Replies

Anybody out there interested in doing some test-knitting? I've made a pilot model of an item, need to verify my pattern changes for different sizes plus make sure the pattern actually makes sense as I've written it. I'll provide yarn and notions as well as return postage for the item you knit. Compensation is negotiable but I'd prefer to "pay" in yarn. You'll of course keep the copy of the pattern that I provide :)

I don't have a deadline as such, but if you volunteer to test-knit for me I'd like the finished item with any corrections in a reasonable amount of time.

Oh, I forgot to mention - the item to be test-knitted is fairly small and shouldn't take more than 3-4 days to make.

I'm a beginner. Maybe you'd like to know if I can do it? If I can do it, anyone can, but I am VERY new. Most of what I make ends up washing dishes or dressing ugly dolls.

Wooly, I guess that this was posted while I was gone. If you need more test knitters, I'd like to offer my services.

Katherine
