New Knitty patterns

I love the cocktail monkey bag! There is a bar/restaurant I n Toronto called Milestones, they make great bellinis (sp?) that always come with the monkeys on them. I have a few friends that collect them.

Any idea where I can get Darice Natural Hemp Cord in Toronto?

Whoops - I saw you specified in Toronto -- I just looked for something available online. You might try the local google option and see if there is something local available.

Kandace asked me to weave her hair last night. That should last three or four days, and saves a lot of problems in the morning.

I have started the Cocktail monkey bag - I got my hemp at Michaels craft store here in the US. I have seen it at AC Moore, too. It comes in a ball, like twine, or string, and I found it in the beading section of my craft store.

I'm guessing it's meant for making hemp jewellery, but they use it to knit this pattern.

I'm nearly finished with the bottom. Knitting with the hemp is not too bad, once you get the feel of it. It is a little slow. I should get to the sides tonight.
