Love the granny square - you must have had a very good teacher LOL. The variegated colors are so many of my favorites.
The other one, which I think is crocheted, I am amazed at - I didn't know you could do cables in crochet. And it's teal !!!
My squares are done, waiting to go to the Post Office.

Yes, I had a wonderful teacher....lol....(it was Rusty who walked me through the granny when I was an absolute newbie)....
The cabled one is a Red Heart Hokey Pokey yarn in Robins Egg while the black is Berella 4. The cables are nothing but post stitches crossed over each other. Detailed in 'From Needles to Hook' I received from Kelly on rcty last year.
