got in a little trouble with comments when I asked himto take a picture of the back of it. Fortunately he obeyed directionsto focus on the area covered by the shawl.

That is very pretty, Jan. Is that knit? You look very nice in it.

Isn't it funny about those hubbys :)

Hi Judy,

Oh, that is beautiful and so is the lovely lady wearing it.

Hugs,

Nora

Judy, That is lovely! I also was really impressed with your Dale of Norway sweater. WHo is the lucky child who will wear that?

Hugs, Katherine

Actually, Katherine, I don't know who gets to wear the Dale of Norway sweater. It was donated to the Washington Environmental Council auction and I don't know who purchased it. It had lots of bids, though, which made it worth while.

Yes - it is knit - mostly garter stitch and quite an easy pattern.

Yes, I would say that it had lots of bids! It is absolutely beautiful!

So pretty, Judy! It looks "fluffy" and good to wear! I like red, it brightens up the black we/I often wear! Give your DH applase, Judy, then I'm sure he will obbey you next time he shal take pictures too!LOL! AUD ;-)

Very pretty ! Great job:>)

Hubby's can be funny like that, can't they?:>)

Judy,

Thanks for sharing your pictures. You look much younger than I thought you were. LOL And your sweater and shawl are beautiful!

Thanks for the kind words. You were probably right the first time on my age- somehow my grandma's good hair color genes help a little in creating a deception on that score - it doesn't work as well in person as in pictures, however. (DD complains a she seems to have taken after DH in that department and is significantly greying at 43 - he was silver by 50).
