I was thinking Cottontots, too, but had the same reservations about the weight. Bernat Softee Baby might also work (no bright red, but lots of other colors).

Also wanted to say "Thank You" from a preemie (was 3 lbs, 1 oz at birth, went down to 2 lbs, 11 oz and then back up). I still have my pink and white preemie hat that someone knittted for me almost 25 years ago.

:o) Thank you for the positive thoughts, Carey! We all can use them from time to time.. and they sure do help you know that there are people who care.

Polly, I lurk at rctq 'cuz I don't quilt, but enjoy the group and the beautiful work everyone there does. Over here at rcty, at least I understand what-all everyone's talking about (most times). ;-)

Each group has it's experts for just about any question you can ask on their specific topics.

Noreen, If Polly goes there, she'd might just find dinner for the 'gators! ;-))

-- Carey in MA (noticing you don't post much on RCTN; neither do I.)

Carey, Gator-food, croc-food, I LOVE it, good analogy of the RCTN-ers. Actually, I don't even GO there anymore, due to their HORRIBLE treatment of someone I care deeply about from 'here'. Hugs, Noreen
