Hi Helen:

Welcome! Hmmm, I'm in St. Catharines...not too far from Fergus if my memory serves me correct.

take care donna

Hello Helen in Fergus, welcome to the group. Fergus in Ontario is the place where the have a great Scottish festival, Michelle my daugher, and her Scottish husband Paul go to every year.

Welcome, Helen. Tell us about yourself.

About 2 1/2 hours. I moved here from Stoney Creek.

Thanks. You are quite right! I'm a Scot myself.

Helen

Thanks Katherine; Ok, I will.

I'm going to be 63 in September. I talked my husband in to slightly early retirement last year. We sold our home and moved to Fergus area and intend to travel south each winter. I have 4 grandchildren; 2 in Canada and 2 in the UK. I spend a lot of time on the computer and doing things like knitting because I'm slightly disabled and can't do a lot of physical stuff. I've lost 80 pounds to help with my problems through WW and would like to lose 20 more. Getting back into knitting again because I want to make things for my grandkids and 2 chihuahas. We have a motorhome we will be travelling in.

Whew! did I miss anything? :D

Helen

Welcome, Helen, you should fit right in here.

Judy (Mom was a Scot - I played in a bagpipe band in college as part of

my mother-funded tuition deal. She went back to teaching so I could go and "suggested" I might want to be in the Iowa Highlanders.)

LOL I don't think so. How far south will you travel? Will you be snowbirds in FLorida? I hope that your motor home has a place to keep your crafting things.

Higs, Katherine

May I also add my welcome to Helen God Bless Gwen
