OT - Another glorious day

I went for my walk today out the trail where the railway tracks used to be. The sun was just setting BRIGHT RED (going to be another nice day tomorrow), and I saw a little bunny and a couple of squirrels along the way too. Also heard a couple of birds but I couldn't see them in the trees, and I could hear geese off in the distance too, but didn't see them.

I did take my cane along as I wasn't feeling very strong today afterall, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity of enjoying the nice weather again. My legs are achy now, but it's a GOOD achy feeling. I really need my one medication, but because of being cut off by Ontario Works for the month of October with no money at all and no drug coverage (because I got three late support payments at once and was honest enough to tell them about it) I can't afford to buy it. I have to wait until November so that I have my drug card to pass in and will only have to pay $2 for it then. Good thing November is only a couple of days away.... I have gone the entire month of October without my medication and am really suffering for it. Anyway... no pity-party.... I enjoyed my walk in the fresh air and sunshine, I enjoyed the gorgeous sunset and seeing the wildlife. It is good to be alive! :o)

Oh yeah, and because of where the trail is, I also got to see the house where I grew up. I love that old house! There were so many good memories in there!

Yes you do... not fun at all. By the way, it's ANOTHER gorgeous day out there.... I *might* try another walk once I stretch my muscles a little first.

- Going to the city on Friday... so I'll be picking up my medication then!

Keith changed drugs last week. On the first day, he felt better, but now - same-oh, same-oh.

Yes, isn't that horrible... just when you think you found something that will help, there it is again. :o/

Hi Gem,

Make sure to take your cane with you even if you are feeling great. DH has to use one even in the house and when he forgets it, he has to yell for me to get it as he can't make it back to where he left it.

On a silly note, the right side ads. from google are about trees since you mentioned them in your note and they picked up on that.

Hugs,

Nora

LOL Guess I'm going to have to watch what I say now that Google is picking up on my posts and putting ads beside them to join in.

I will definitely take my cane with me. Even when my legs feel strong enough to walk without my cane, I still tend to sway a bit.... think John Waynes swagger, only not *quite* that exaggerated. I lose my balance a bit, I guess is a better way of putting it. Besides, I never know when I will suddenly get a muscle spasm that will knot the muscles in my legs a bit, so I do like to have my cane with me just to be on the safe side.

- wondering if Google is going to pick up on "cane" or "John Wayne" now? LOL

Yepper. That was his reaction, too. However, he will stay on them for a few weeks, just to make sure.
