Laurie Are you using OE? If so, go to tools, choose newsgroups, and choose say... download 250 messages. That should be a 'couple of days worth'. HTH, Hugs, Noreen

Laurie, When you log on to your news server, you should see how many post for each newsgroup by the name of the group. With Outlook Express you will have to redownload all the messages on the server, since they are listed by date. Click on sent at the top of the message list, and this will bring the newest messages to the top. The maximum number of headers that can be downloaded at one time is 600.
