OT - Hey, hey, hey it's a beautiful day... (singing in my best voice)

What a gorgeous day here.... the sun is shining and the sky is clear blue. The ground looks like it has been raining though... likely overnight.

Funny though.... I just opened the drapes on the window that face the school parking lot and thought I had lost a day somewhere. It looks like Saturday, no cars in the parking lot at all... must be one of those school PD days or something I guess. *shrug* Oh well, I'm just enjoying the fact that it looks like such a wonderful day outside. I just saw the boy next door walk by on the sidewalk wearing a warm coat, so it must be chilly.. but then, it is only early yet, so who knows what it will be like later. :o)

The leaves around here are in such glorious colours now, from some green left, to yellow, to pinkish, to orange, to bright reds. God is definitely a wonderful artist, with such a huge canvas to work with. :o)

Like I've said many times... I can find something that I love about all four of the seasons, and I'm happy to live where we get all four of them. :o) The autumn colours and coolness in the air (not the dampness though), winter snow and ice storms that leave everything all sparkly like diamonds all over and of course the big feathery snowflakes that tend to fall on Christmas Eve that look so magical, the fresh smell of spring when the buds are coming out on the trees and in the gardens and the grass is turning from winter snow-covered brown to bright fresh green and the birds are singing "We're back! We're back!", and the warmth (not the humidity) of summer with wisps of a breeze to ease the discomfort from the heat and the bright blue skies and colourful flower gardens. Whoa, run-on sentence! LOL It was an intentional one though, so I don't care! ;oP~

Have a wonderful day wherever you are! :o)

Hi Gem,

Your day sounds just like mine. The sun is shining and the sky has only a few clouds. When we were out yesterday, we could see where the trees are starting to turn, about two weeks behind, but the color is there. Me too, I love the four seasons, even though I complain about the snow at times.

Hugs,

Nora

hehehe Nora, I don't know many people who don't complain about the snow at times... or any of the weather for that matter. ;o)

I try to enjoy it all, but I do find that if it has been raining or just very dark and cloudy for a long time, I start feeling really awful (headaches, achy body, etc). Other than that, I can put up with just about anything that nature wants to share with me. :o)

You've just perfectly described the weather in St. Paul today. There's not a cloud in the sky and the temperature is now in the low 40s with a predicted high of about 60 F. Some trees are still wearing their fall colors but they are getting more bare every day. I will definitely go out for a walk today and enjoy the color as well as the rustling sound of the leaves that have fallen.

It is wonderful here, too. It is +5°C, and gloriously sunny. I can definitely handle this! It is supposed to stay clear all weekend, which, with luck, willl stretch through till Monday, for trick-or-treating.

I hope you enjoyed your walk today! I was a little busy doing a few things around here (inside) and then going to the store for a couple of needed items and to say solong to a nice young lady who had gone through elementary school with my son. Today was her last day working at the grocery store... she is off to move just outside of Toronto tomorrow. Real shame that she and Matthew couldn't have gotten back together again.... she was his *very first* girlfriend in grade 6, and she turned out to be a real sweetie. She's engaged to be married next June though, so I hope she'll be happy.

Hopefully it will be a nice day again tomorrow... if it is, I just might decide to go for a walk along the path where the railroad tracks used to be. I will definitely take my cane along though (even if I'm feeling strong enough to walk without it) because the trail can be a little bumpy and I tend to get a little off-balance from time to time.... so even if strong enough, I will use my cane (or have it with me at least) for balance. :o)
