Thanks Mirjam, yes, I and all mine seem to be OK, still waiting to hear from DS and his girlfriend, but they should both be at work well away from the events, which sound like scare and chaos causing tactics rather than serious damage causing efforts. Though that remains to be seen. DD2 was on her way up to the centre of London to meet her friend for some shopping, when she heard about the incidents, so she turned round. Ann was very worried about her friend, and how she was going to get home, although she is now on her way apparently. The explosion on the bus is quite close to where they live, which is quite worrying, but life has to go on, as Mirjam will know. Thanks for your concern Love Christine

Oh man, this is terrible!! I've been online since I got up this morning so I haven't been watching the TV at all.

My thoughts and prayers are going out to all our UK friends... please stay safe. :o/

Hi

reports so far are saying that there was only one casualty who was not seriously injured. BBC news is a good place to look for updates!

Just a quick update. The police shot someone on a tube train this morning. Looks like they may have found one of the 4 unsuccessful bombers from yesterday. That's what the rumours are anyway.

If you have updated since me, then you'll have seen that they don't think he was partof it, but when stopped he acted suspicious and ran, and wouldn't stop so they cornered him, got him to the ground and shot him, what a waste of life all cos of his fear, at not answering, \still\ more may come outof this yet, have to see what else developes.

One bomb scare very close to my home, on the M4 le dalamere services that's \the motorway\ that\ \runs just seven mins driving\ time away frm me, they closed the motorway, so I had\ to ring my\ dh to say that he'd better take the scenic run home from Swindon, as there were gonna be tailbacks....he got home safe, and we now wait to see what they exploded...why don't people\ think to take their bags with them, or is it kids doing it \on purpose...as\ if our police haven't enough to do.
